In cases of reported animal cruelty:
Reports of cases of cruelty, neglect, or mistreatment of animals should be directed to the competent authorities with legal power and capacity to intervene.
For most reports of mistreatment, abandonment, or neglect, including companion and farm animals on small properties, please contact:
Nature and Environment Protection Service (SEPNA) of the National Republican Guard (GNR): SOS Environment and Territory Hotline: 808 200 520
Note: SEPNA is the primary authority on the ground for animal protection.
It is crucial to provide as much detail as possible (exact location, date, description of the facts, photos or videos) when making a report to ensure effective intervention.
